OPERATING YOUR WINE CHILLER
It is recommended you install the Wine Chiller in a place where the ambient temperature is between
23º-26ºC/ 72º-78ºF. If the ambient temperature is above or below recommended temperatures, the
performance of the unit may be affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme cold or hot
conditions may cause interior temperatures to fluctuate. The range of 8º-18ºC/46º-64ºF may not be
reached.
Recommended Temperatures for Chilling Wine.
Red Wines 15º - 19º C 58 – 64º F
Dry/White Wines 9º - 14º C 48 – 57º F
Rose Wines 10º - 11º C 49 – 51º F
Sparkling Wines 5º - 9º C 40 – 47º F
¾ SETTING THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
¾ You can set the temperature as you desire by pushing the UP or DOWN button. When you push
the two buttons for the first time, the LCD readout will show the original temperature set at
previous time (the temperature preset at the factory is 12ºC / 54ºF).
¾ The temperature that you desire to set will increase 1ºF or 1ºC if you push the UP button once, on
the contrary the temperature will decrease 1ºF or 1ºC if you push the DOWN button once.
¾ When you store mostly red wines, the temperature which you control by pushing the above two
buttons need to be set at between 15º - 19ºC (58º - 64ºF).
¾ When you store mostly white wines, the temperature needs to be set at between 9º - 14ºC (48º -
57ºF).
¾ When you store mostly sparkling wines, the temperature needs to be set at between 5º - 9ºC (40º
- 47ºF).
NOTE:
When you use the wine chiller for the first time or restart the wine chiller after having been shut off
for a long time, there could be a few degrees variance between the temperature you select and
the one indicated on the LCD readout. This is normal and it is due to the length of the activation
time. Once the wine chiller is running for a few hours everything will be back to normal.
¾ Storage Capacity
NOTE: You can place 6 standard bottles in this wine chiller.
Many bottles may differ in size and dimensions. As such the actual number of bottles you may be able
to store may vary. Bottle capacities are approximate maximums when storing traditional Bordeaux
750ml bottles and include bulk storage.
You can select temperature display setting from Fahrenheit to Celsius degree by pushing the
button. Fahrenheit or Celsius degrees indicator will appear in white color in the LCD temperature
display window with blue background.
